Thank you for considering your responsibility to the community by publishing viewpoints which are contrary to the mainstream media, social platforms and others who have been influenced by their views. It is well documented that mainstream media is primarily liberal and has leaned left for the last 40 years with intensity growing during the Trump Administration.
I would hope that all op/ed contributors do their due diligence before assigning blame and stereotyping people who do not always agree with their own beliefs. As rational citizens, we should not blindly follow any one way of thinking, realizing that the truth can only be found by gathering information and facts from all sides. The continued publication of all viewpoints is the democratic way, not an erosion to the community, as some believe.
I believe an unwillingness to publish all views that are within the standards of publication would eventually cause levels of trust in the community to plummet. The editor has shown himself to be a person of sense and probity.
