Grace Presbyterian hosting a ‘Gathering of Patriots’
Editor:
Our communities are being disrupted and anti-biblical theories of rights are being taught which produce tension, division, and racism. Critical Race Theory, proceeding from false premises, is destroying the very foundations of culture. Indeed, this is the plan. It is the old war strategy of “divide and conquer.” The goal is to remove all the influence of Christianity and biblical morality upon which the first 250 years of our history was founded.
The grievance industry is in high gear as agitators both exploit and create areas of tension. They dredge up long past injustices and count present folks as guilty parties to sins to which they were not parties, contrary to what the Bible teaches regarding guilt.
These contenders do not have an end game. They have only the vision of “burn it all down.” They are the wrecking crews who will themselves be wrecked when the destruction is complete. Then those who want us all to forget God and to remember His Law no more, will dispense with their “useful idiots” and build the Socialist Utopia of their dreams. Not being content with running their own lives and leaving you to your freedom to do the same, they want to run your life. It is power and wealth they crave. Our southern neighbors in Cuba are signaling how “good” the Socialist Utopia is in their home. It will not be better here. It never has worked and never will because it rejects God and His Law. It is choosing slavery and death over liberty and life. Jesus said, “The Truth will set you free.”
The answer is given to us clearly in God’s Word, “For the LORD is our judge, the LORD is our lawgiver, the LORD is our king; He will save us (Isaiah 33:22)”. This was the challenge Moses set before Israel in Deuteronomy 30:15-20.
Grace Presbyterian Church will be hosting a “Gathering of Patriots” the first four evenings of August at the VFW Hall in Daleville. Pastor Jeff Black will be speaking each of the four evenings. Sunday will be a worship service, the following three evenings will not be. Time for questions and answers will be planned, and refreshments will be available.
We are hopeful because the Holy Spirit says, “The kings of the earth take their stand, and the rulers take counsel together against the LORD and against His Anointed: Let us tear their fetters apart, and cast away their cords from us.” He who sits in the heavens laughs, the Lord scoffs at them (Psalm 2:2-4).”
We look forward to seeing many of you on these evenings at 6:30 p.m.
