White thanks residents for their votes
Editor:
To the residents of Buchanan, thank you to all who came out to vote in the Republican firehouse primary on Saturday, May 1! It is an honor and a privilege for me to have received the Republican nomination for the Buchanan seat on the Board of Supervisors. As I said after the voting closed that day, the real win is that so many Buchanan citizens turned out to vote and engage with their community. I am humbled and motivated by the support. This effort would not have been possible without the team who worked tirelessly alongside me throughout the campaign – I could not have done this without them.
I talked with so many residents during the campaign process and loved hearing your stories about the history of Buchanan, and more importantly about your visions for our future. I promise to enthusiastically represent our area from now until the election in November, and if elected to continue to serve you for the next four years.
Please continue to contact me with your concerns and ideas. I look forward to working with you, and representing all of you as Botetourt County continues to move forward. There is hope and promise in the future, and I want the citizens of Buchanan to share in what our county offers.
