Thanks Bordetts for street sign work
Editor:
I want to take this opportunity to recognize the efforts of David Bordett and his father, local artist Ed Bordett, in replacing our street signs in the Historic District of Fincastle. A lot of work went into this project and the result is beautiful. Thank you both.

Clinton thanks voters, citizens for support
Editor:
To the voters of Amsterdam and the citizens of Botetourt on the occasion of my primary election victory on May 1 – sincere thanks to the voters of Amsterdam and to citizens all across Botetourt for your unwavering support through the years. And special thanks to my campaign committee – a remarkable group of hard-working and innovative friends whose energy lies at the heart of this primary victory.
Competitive campaigns are never easy, but they are always fulfilling and always instructive– fulfilling because they afford the opportunity to personally share thoughts and observations with citizens, and instructive because they showcase the opportunities as well as the challenges before us.
Crystal clear to me throughout this campaign is the readiness of our citizens to cultivate those opportunities and to confront those challenges. It will be my privilege – indeed, “honor” – to be a key part of that collaborative effort.
Thank you once again, Amsterdam, for making this favorable outcome possible!
Keep in touch, keep prospering, and keep innovating!
Steve Clinton
