Card Making for EMS

We’re #BOCOGrateful for our Botetourt County Emergency Services! Drop by any library branch this month to fill out a holiday card, and we’ll deliver all of them weekly to EMS.

Iron Furnaces of Botetourt

Join Ed McCoy to learn about the iron furnaces built to process ore from the late 1700s into the early 1900s, how they contributed to Botetourt’s development, and where they are today.

 

Outdoor Book Club

Youth Chess Club

Tuesdays, 4-5:30pm, Eagle Rock

Tuesdays, 5:30-6:30pm, Blue Ridge

Learn the basics of chess while expanding your critical-thinking and problem-solving skills. Offered in partnership with Botetourt County Parks & Recreation. Call 540-928-2900 to register.

 

Holiday Hours

All library branches will close at noon on Friday, December 22, and will reopen for normal hours on Tuesday, December 26.
