It’s National Library Card Sign-Up Month!
Do you have a library card? September is the perfect time to get one! Drop by any of our four library branches with your photo ID (and proof of current address if not on your ID). It’s free, takes just a few minutes to set up, and gives you access to a whole world of information and imagination. Parents or legal guardians can sign up children age 0+ for library cards as well; parents retain full control of minors’ accounts until age 18.
What do you get with a library card?
You get FREE access to the local community hub and info center! Check out books, audiobooks, ebooks, DVDs, streaming videos and music, educational kits, puzzles, telescopes, and more. Take online courses and dive into research. Services include printing, faxing, scanning, laminating, public computers, 24/7 wifi, notary, test proctoring, meeting spaces, take-home COVID tests, curbside pickup, and genealogy research. Hang out in our public spaces, grab some coffee, and read or chat. Join book discussion groups and reading challenges, attend programs and events, and meet new friends. If you’re new to libraries, don’t be shy. We’d love to meet you, show you around, and help you find the resources and services that are the best fit for you and your family. Everyone is welcome.
