Three members of the Daleville/Fincastle Lions Club met at the Fincastle Preschool to do vision screening on May 8. Approximately 19 children were screened. The Spot Vision Screener is a handheld, portable device designed to help quickly and easily detect vision issues on patients from 6 months of age through adult. Spot screens both eyes at once from a nonthreatening three-foot distance. Vision screening is performed free by members of the Daleville/Fincastle Lions Club. They will visit public schools, private schools, and homeschool associations. Email dalevillelions@gmail.com for more information.
