Botetourt Longbeards will reschedule Hunting Heritage Banquet
The Botetourt Longbeards Chapter of the National Wild Turkey Federation (NWTF) has postponed its annual Hunting Heritage Banquet that was scheduled for March 21.
A chapter spokesperson said concerns about the coronavirus and school closings required the Longbeards to postpone the fundraising event. “We plan to reschedule the banquet later this spring or summer, so those who have tickets will be able to use those tickets to attend. Anyone wanting a refund can contact the chapter through our email, botetourtlongbeards@gmail.com,” the spokesperson said. Those getting tickets online will be able to get credits if they want, or use the ticket when the banquet is rescheduled.
“We regret that we’ve had to take this step, but school closings and the governor’s action that limits the number of people who can gather to 100 or fewer left the chapter no choice,” the spokesperson said. “We look forward to having the banquet rescheduled and hope everyone who was planning on attending will join us then.”
