A Longaberger Bingo will be held Saturday, Sept. 30  at the Fincastle Fire Department, Roanoke Road, Fincastle. Doors open at 9:30 a.m. and bingo starts at 10 a.m.

The bingo is sponsored by the Botetourt Longbeards Chapter of the National Wild Turkey Federation (NWTF). All proceeds will benefit the local food pantries with donations of frozen turkeys.

There will be 20 games played for $20 (3 cards per game). Additional cards will be sold for $10. There will be door prizes, cake raffles, Chinese Auction, Silent Auction and a 50/50. Food and soft drinks will be for sale.

Pre-register by September 27 by calling April Howard at 473-2598 to be entered in a separate prize drawing.

Bring non-perishable food items for the food pantries and be entered in another special drawing.

All are invited to help support this effort.
