The Botetourt County track teams will be competing in the annual Cosmopolitan Club track meet at William Fleming High School in Roanoke this weekend.
The “Cosmo” is annually one of the top track meets in the area, with divisions for middle school athletes, a Junior Division for freshmen and sophomores and a Senior Division for high school juniors and seniors and any other underclassmen who want to compete with the toughest competition.
The middle school will have trials and field events on Thursday, beginning at 3 p.m. Junior Division field events and running trials will be on Friday beginning at 3 p.m. Saturday morning will be Senior Division field events at 9 a.m. and running finals in all divisions will begin at 11:30 a.m.
