Lord Botetourt High School graduate Lauren Hoffman is a senior on the Roanoke College baseball team, and with the Moyer Complex in Salem still undergoing renovation Lauren is playing her home games at the Botetourt Sports Complex. An infielder and DH, Lauren is batting .333 through last weekend with nine hits in 27 at bats. She has three doubles and has driven in six runs for the Maroons, who are 9-5 after sweeping Eastern Mennonite in a doubleheader last weekend. The Maroons are at the BSC this Saturday to host Sweet Briar in a doubleheader beginning at 1 p.m.
