The James River boys were third and the girls were fifth at the Three Rivers District swim meet last week. The meet was held at the Christiansburg Aquatic Center.
River had two swimmers take first places. Luke Martin won the 50 free for the boys team and Megan Cox was first in the 500 free for the girls.
The Knights will next compete in the region meet this Saturday at Christiansburg. The meet begins at 9:30 a.m.
The Lord Botetourt swim team was scheduled to compete in the regional at Christiansburg on Tuesday of this week but results were too late for publication.
