VFW Post and Auxiliary 1841, Daleville, recently sponsored the annual patriotic essay contest for students. From left are Auxiliary President Abby Fedor; Grayson Hatter, who received second place; VFW Post Commander Jerry Jacobsen; and Tim Wilson, who won first place in the local contest. The students received certificates and cash awards. Wilson also won first place at the District high school level.
