Mildred “Middy” Virginia Hambrick Johnson, 93, of Eagle Rock, passed away Wednesday, May 18, 2022 at Brian Center in Low Moor, where she lived since 2019.
She was the daughter of the late Emory and Gladys Wilhelm Hambrick. Mildred was born and had lived most of her life in Eagle Rock and was a life-long member of Eagle Rock Baptist Church. She was preceded in death by her husband, James Edward Johnson in 2002; and her six brothers, William “Bill” Hambrick, Eugene Hambrick, Rudy Hambrick, Hollis “Jack” Hambrick, Robert Hambrick, and Leslie Hambrick.
She is survived by her twin daughters, Susan (Jeff) Ross and Karen (James “Andy”) Anderson of Lewisburg, W.Va.; five grandchildren, Shane (Karina) Anderson of Prosper, Texas, Lori (Rick) McGee of Philippi, W.Va., Lee (Elaine) Ross of Evanson, Wyo., Michael (Jessica) Ross of Wolfcreek, W.Va., and Kevin (Abbi) Ross of Ronceverte, W.Va.; and seven great-grandchildren.

Visitation was from 2-3 p.m. with services at 3 p.m. on Sunday, May 22, in the Eagle Rock Chapel of Botetourt Funeral Home with Pastor Billy Ronk officiating.
