How would you like to enjoy a traditional English “High Tea” in the safety of your own home for a special Mother’s Day experience and, at the same time, help feed hungry people?  The T.A.M.E. (That All May Eat) Ministry at St. Mark’s United Methodist Church in Daleville is sponsoring a gourmet Mother’s Day Tea To-Go on Saturday, May 8. Proceeds from sales support projects to help the food-insecure in the community and the world.

Each tea box will contain two savory sandwiches, a chicken salad croissant, a white chocolate raspberry scone with Devonshire cream, two sweet treats, and an assortment of teabags. To place an order, go on the church website at www.stmarksmethodist.com or call the church office at 992-3030. Deadline for ordering is Tuesday, May 4.

You will pay for your tea boxes at the time of pick up. The cost is as follows: one box, $20; two boxes, $36; three boxes, $48; or four boxes for $60. If you get more than four boxes, the cost continues to go down per box.

Pick up the order at St. Mark’s United Methodist Church, located at 19 Cedar Ridge Drive in Daleville (across US 220 from Kroger), on Saturday, May 8 between 11 a.m. and 1 p.m. Drive up and a TAME representative will put the tea boxes in your car for you with no contact.

If you have any questions, call the church at 992-3030.
