After taking last year off because of the pandemic, Nashville Night returns to James River High School for its 10th year on September 19 at 7 p.m. Buchanan and James River’s own Matthew Ramsey will return with some fellow award-winning songwriters to share their hit songs.
At the present time, all capacity restrictions have been lifted for indoor events. Tickets will be on sale Friday, August 13 from noon to 7 p.m. and Saturday, August 14 from 10 a.m.-2 p.m. at the Buchanan Library, 19795 Main Street. The prices are $50 for VIP seats, $35 floor level seats and $25 general admission bleacher seats. It is unsure at this time if Meet & Greet passes will be issued.
All proceeds will go to The Ramsey Foundation (https://theramseyfoundation.com). The foundation was created by Matthew Ramsey to provide resources to organizations in rural communities, to help meet daily life needs as well as the enrichment of cultural arts. Last year, the Foundation gave $50,000 to James River High School to enhance the music, art, and literature programs.
There will be an eight-ticket limit per person and no call-in orders will be taken. Any tickets that are left after 2 p.m. on Saturday will be available online. As in years past, the songwriters will bring items for drawings that include artist merchandise and tickets to concerts.
