Cheryl Miller Lackey, a Botetourt County artist, has opened Lackey Studio & Art Gallery in Daleville.
The new studio/gallery space is located in the Wampler Building on the hill directly behind Bellacinos at 64 Wendover Road, Daleville.
The gallery will host a Christmas open house on Saturday, Nov. 14, from 10 a.m. until 4 p.m. Individually wrapped refreshments will be served and door prizes will be given away throughout the day. Social distancing and masks will be required.
The gallery features original paintings by Cheryl Miller Lackey and the work of numerous other artists. In addition to Lackey’s original paintings, the gallery offerings include: woodworking, pottery, sculpture, jewelry, hand-painted glass, and leather goods, including the works of Madeline Talent (pottery and jewelry), Bobbie Byrd (hand-painted glass), Carlos Dowling (pottery and sculpture), Ali Martin (leather goods), Dan Perkins (pottery), Alan Smith (woodworking), and Shari Sutherland (pottery and jewelry). More artists and vendors are participating in this special holiday event.
