Bohler Engineering recently submitted a Special Exception Permit (SEP) to the Botetourt County Planning Commission for the development of a convenience store with fuel sales on the southwest corner of Roanoke Road and Glebe Road in Daleville. The project scope includes the development of a one-story, 5,915-sq.-ft. convenience store with gas on a 56-acre parcel.
The proposed site area will be 2.22 acres. The existing site is currently vacant. In the application, the applicant states that the proposed convenience store and fuel station will provide a much-needed service to both residents and commuters in the vicinity, offering essential goods and fueling services in a convenient location.
In other matters on the planning agenda, Fralin & Waldron Inc requests a change of proffered conditions that would amend the Core, Edge, Workplace areas shown on the Designated Use Plan for the Daleville Town Center, located adjacent to Glebe Road (Route 675) and Broad Street and identified as tax parcels 88-G(1)1 and 88-33C.
Also, the Botetourt County Board of Supervisors has authorized consideration of a Comprehensive Plan amendment to show certain Western Virginia Water Authority CIP projects on the Sewer & Water Infrastructure Map #37 in accordance with Section 25-581.4 Comprehensive Plan amendment and review of the Botetourt County Code.
County planners will meet at 6 p.m. Monday, Jan. 8 in the County Administration Center in Daleville.
