LITTLE, Jeanita A.
Jeanita Ann Little, 68, of Fincastle, passed away on Tuesday, June 27, 2017.
She was a retired teacher for the Botetourt County School System; she had served as an educator for 41 years.
Jeanita is survived by her husband of 46 years, Henry Little Jr.; children, Julie Beech, Thomas Little, and Daniel Little; brothers and sisters, Norma Roberts, Shirley Farmer, Mary Whitten and her husband Jim Whitten, Jim Harrison and his wife Peggy Harrison, Sue Stroupe, and Roger Harrison. She was a beloved wife and mother, who loved gardening, animals, and was devoted to sharing her love of books and learning with children. She will be greatly missed and holds a special place in all of our hearts.
Funeral services were held at Blue Ridge Memorial Gardens Mausoleum Chapel on Thursday, June 29, at 3 p.m, officiated by Chaplain Seth McCormick.

John William “John Bill” Watts, 89, of Natural Bridge passed away Tuesday, July 4, 2017.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Jean Saville Watts. He is survived by his daughters, Shelly Strange of Santa Rosa Beach, Fla.; Deborah Evans and husband, Mike of Madison, Ga; grandchildren, Alexandria Strange, Sheldon and Shane Hebert, Andi and Hannah Dangerfield; great-grandson, Tristen Hebert; step-grandchildren, Jason and Tonya Dangerfield; step-great-grandchildren, Jack and Lily Dangerfield; sister, Juanita Martin of Mayodan, N.C.; nephew and wife, Bernie and Cheryl Watts; great-nieces and great-nephews, Christy Matthews, Hope, Jonathan, and Benjamin Watts.
John Bill became a member of High Bridge Presbyterian Church in 1938, the Natural Bridge Ruritans for over 49 years, the James Evans Lodge No. 72 for over 60 years, and Rockbridge County School Board serving two terms. He was a lifetime farmer and the youngest of nine brothers and sisters.
Funeral services were held at 11 a.m. Saturday, July 8, in High Bridge Presbyterian Church with the Rev. Jason Grimes officiating. Interment was in the church cemetery. Rebecca Marie “Becca” Weeks, 41, of Buchanan passed away Friday, June 30, 2017.
Becca was preceded in death by her grandparents, Dewey and Joy Wright, Jim Weeks; and great-grandparent, Marie Harlow.
Survivors include her father, Larry Allen Weeks of Buchanan; mother and step-father, Rebecca Wright Taylor and John Henry Taylor of Buchanan; brother, Christopher Allen Weeks of Buchanan; aunts and uncles, Joyce and Allen Fridley, Vicky and Gene Setney, Randy and Jayne Wright, Bruce Wright, Nancy Weeks, and Robyn Weeks; numerous nieces and nephews; special friends, Jesse Goff, Dottie Schuder, Jerry and Emma Goad.
A graveside service was held at 10 a.m. Monday, July 3, in Fairview Cemetery, Buchanan with Pastor Peggy Brown and Pastor Tracy Terry officiating.
