The James River golf team had their Three Rivers District match with Alleghany, Radford and Glenvar postponed by threat of rain Tuesday.
Alleghany was the host team at the Cliff View Golf Club. The Knights were at home last week for a match at the Botetourt Golf & Swim Club. Floyd County was the team winner and the Knights were second with a team score of 371. Mitchell Boone led River with an 86. The River junior varsity team will play host to Floyd County this Thursday at the Botetourt Golf & Swim Club. The varsity won’t be back in action until next Monday when they take on Carroll County and Floyd County at Floyd.
