Ralph Marshall Clark, a lifetime resident of Eagle Rock, because he had placed his faith in Christ departed this life for Heaven Friday, August 26, 2022.
He was born October 19, 1936 to the late William and Lucy Sparks Clark. Ralph retired as a press operator for Yokohama Rubber Company in Salem and was an avid hunter. He enjoyed hunting with his late brother, Herbert Hoover Clark.
In addition to his parents and brother, Ralph was preceded in death by his wife Beulah Viola Edwards Clark; a stepson, Thomas Powell; and a stepdaughter, Wanda Williams.
He is survived by his son, Darel Ray (Wendi) Clark of Lynchburg; daughter-in-law Velma Powell of Daleville; son-in-law, Roy (Katherine) Smith; grandchildren, Lauren Clark, Adam Clark, Ricky (Janet) Powell, Cynthia Zuberer, Philip (Holly) Powell, Melissa Larew-Cook (Wesley), Michelle (Jason) Thomas, Dolanda (Jeff) Kzinowek, Ron White, and Ronnie (Gina) Smith; multiple great-grandchildren, nieces, and nephews.
Ralph’s family would like to express thanks for the care given to Ralph while at Carrington Place of Botetourt as well as to Good Samaritan Hospice.
A graveside service honoring Ralph’s life will be 2 p.m. Thursday, September 1 at Mt. Moriah Cemetery, 2419 Mt. Moriah Road, Eagle Rock, with Pastor Ed Bailey officiating.
