Lord Botetourt graduate Nate Prince and Roanoke College teammate Tyler Galloway were recently named to the 2024-25 College Sports Communicators (CSC) Academic All-District Team.
To qualify, student-athletes must have at least a 3.50 cumulative GPA, have sophomore standing, and must compete in 90 percent of the team’s games played or must start in at least 66 percent of games. Galloway, a computer science major, and Prince, a health and exercise science major, combined to post an average GPA of 3.71.
Prince started in 36 of his 39 games played, hitting for a .320 average. The junior heated up in ODAC play for Roanoke, hitting .410 and posting a 1.003 OPS against conference foes. Prince was also second on the team in runs and third in walks with 35 and 20, respectively.
