Regional Center for Animal Care and Protection (RCACP) Executive Director David Flagler announced this week that he will retire, effective June 30.
Since 2013, Flagler has overseen the center operated by the City of Roanoke, the Counties of Roanoke and Botetourt, and the Town of Vinton.
The Executive Committee will be naming an interim director for the facility prior to initiating a search for Flagler’s replacement. The interim chair of the RCACP Executive Committee is Acting Roanoke City Manager Brian Townsend.
