The Region 3D tennis finals are scheduled for Thursday of this week at the highest remaining seed.
Botetourt’s girls were scheduled to play in the semifinals on Tuesday. The Cavaliers are the third seed and they were scheduled to play the winner of a quarterfinal match between second seeded Hidden Valley and seventh seeded Patrick County. If Hidden Valley won the Titans would host, but if Patrick County pulled the upset they would have come here.
Botetourt beat Staunton River in the quarterfinal round, 6-0. Singles winners were Rachel Williams, Leah Germain, Jordan Coffey, Kaile Judge, Allison Coombe and Jessica Lancenese. That clinched the match and the doubles were not played.
The LB boys were the sixth seed and they were eliminated by third-seeded Cave Spring last Friday.
