The Ridge Rifle Association will hold the Brownell NRA Youth Shooting Clinic Saturday, June 9, beginning at 8:30 a.m. Participants must be ages 8-18 and boys and girls are encouraged to attend. Registration is limited to the first 50 shooters.
Participation is free. Each youth will be required to attend a firearms safety class focusing on safe operation and handling. They will receive a goody bag, safety equipment (eye and ear protection) and the use of .22 rifles at each station. They will be under the supervision of experienced instructors. Safety equipment and .22 rifles will be provided for use at each station, and an assumption of risk forms will need to be signed by a parent or legal guardian for youth to participate.
Participants may enter a drawing for a grand prize .22 rifle.
Mill Creek Baptist Church will offer lunch for a reasonable cost.
