The girls made their home debut Friday against another Class 3 team, Heritage High of Lynchburg, and won 48-34. The Knights jumped on top early, outscoring the Pioneers 16-2 in the first quarter, and never looked back.

The Knights returned the trip to Heritage on Tuesday of this week, but results were too late for publication. Then they’re off for a week before Waynesboro comes to Springwood next Tuesday, December 17.
