James River’s first tennis team has qualified for the Region 2C tournament. The girls were scheduled to open early this week but matches Monday and Tuesday were cancelled with hopes to begin today, weather permitting. This year’s first River team includes, from left: front row, Maggie Brewster, Caroline Church, Lily Falls and Regan Childs; back row, Head Coach Brian White, Payton White, Addison Bandy, Leanna Steger, Kyra Taylor, Grace Matre and Assistant Coach Ashley Matre.
