It was a big night in Springwood last Friday when the James River baseball team swept a doubleheader from Staunton River on “Military Night.” Two veterans were presented quilts in appreciation of their service, Mike Lee (left) and Wayne Hammons. Wayne is the grandfather of current Knights player Zeal Hammons.
