The James River girls have had a tough time of it this basketball season. After a slow start the girls have been forced to quarantine due to the coronavirus pandemic and have not been able to get on the floor.
“We were able to have a shoot around Saturday morning when they were able to come back,” said coach E.D. Schechterly.
River is scheduled to have a home game tonight against Giles followed by a road trip to Floyd on Thursday.
“If for any reason we don’t get to play them, then the season is over,” said Schechterly. “There will not be a make-up game because the regular season ends Friday.”
