Construction work at Botetourt Center at Greenfield hasn’t been limited to the conversion work going on at what will be the Ballast Point Brewery and Spirits brewery and restaurant.

The frame for the 100,000-square-foot shell building that the Greater Roanoke Valley Development Foundation and the Roanoke Valley Development Corporation is nearly under roof. Botetourt County Administrator Gary Larrowe said the shell building is getting some attention, including an inquiry last week. Eldor Corp. has signed a contract that means the start of its building for the Italian company’s new advanced automobile components manufacturing plant across the road fro the shell building should be started soon.
