Ruth Patricia “Patsy” Bramblett Goodwin walked through the gates of Heaven on Thursday, April 15, 2021 at Roanoke Memorial Hospital.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Jesse “Tippy” Goodwin; parents, Malcolm and Nellie Bramblett; and brother, Warner Bramblett.
She is survived by her daughters and son-in-law, Cindy and Wayne Alexander of Blue Ridge and Karen Goodwin of Buchanan; grandchildren, Michael Alexander and Ashley Mundy; great- grandchild, Carter Mundy; and sister, Carolyn Clark.
Funeral services were held at 2 p.m. Monday, April 19, in the Buchanan Chapel of Botetourt Funeral Home with Pastor Rick Troutt officiating. Interment was in Lithia Baptist Church Cemetery. The family received friends from 4-6 p.m. Sunday, April 18, at Botetourt Funeral Home in Buchanan.
