Santa Claus gave a high-five to one of the children who turned out Saturday night to help usher in the Christmas season in Buchanan. Santa and Mrs. Claus arrived by fire truck, then helped with the countdown to light the town tree next to the Town Hall on Main Street. The tree was donated by Tommy Moore. More than 250 people sang carols by candlelight before new Town Manager Jason Tyree and his family flipped the switch to light the tree. Photo by Ed McCoy
