The Botetourt Genealogy Club and Friends of the Fincastle Library have scheduled a series of photo scanning sessions for a permanent collection and the upcoming Genealogical Fair.
Negative, slides and photos up to 11×17 can be scanned. Photos wanted are military, school, memorial cards, vintage, weddings, old homes and historical locations.
The scanning sessions are:
- Monday, July 29, 2-8 p.m., Fincastle Library
- Tuesday, Aug. 6, 2-6 p.m., Blue Ridge Library
- Thursday, Aug. 15, 2-6 p.m., Buchanan Library
- Monday, Oct. 21, 2-6 p.m., Eagle Rock Library
