Last Friday in Buchanan, James River High School held their annual Homecoming Parade hours before James River’s kickoff against Giles County.
The favorable weather saw an impressive turnout of many members of the Buchanan community lining the sidewalks of Main Street while capturing moments the students of James River will remember for years to come.
Students in the Homecoming Court were joined by the football team, cheerleaders, and several other student organizations who piled into pickups, convertibles, and trailers. The students waved in appreciation and threw candy to those in attendance.
