On Thursday, July 11, Ms. Cari led a simulated archaeological dig at the Fincastle Library. Thirty amateur archaeologists learned fun facts about multiple ancient civilizations, including the Romans, Vikings, and Tudors. Participants unearthed artifacts such as jewels and coins, which they could either keep or swap for other treasures at Ms. Rhonda’s Trading Post. These items were then used to make jewelry and keychains that participants could take home.
