Mildred Lee “Millie” McDaniel Sloan, 86, of Buchanan, passed away Wednesday, March 11, 2020.
Millie was preceded in death by her parents, Wilson Lawson and Mary Eunice Newcomb McDaniel, and her husband, Melvin Richard Sloan.
Survivors include her daughters and sons-in-law, Vickie and Roy Linkenhoker of Daleville, Sherry and Jerry Nelson of Buchanan; grandchildren, Brent Linkenhoker, Jennifer (Keith) Learn, and Kristin Sloan; great-grandchildren, Morgan, Madison, and Melaina Learn.
In abiding by her wishes, the family received friends from 1 to 2 p.m. Sunday, March 15, at Botetourt Funeral Home, Buchanan, followed by her memorial service at 2 p.m.
