Timothy B. Snyder, 69, of Buchanan, passed away Wednesday, April 23, 2025. He was preceded in death by his parents, Thomas, Sr. and Virginia Snyder; and brother, George Snyder.
Tim was a 1973 graduate of Stonewall Jackson High School in Mount Jackson, Va. He was a 1977 graduate of VMI in Civil Engineering and went on to serve in the U.S. Army Reserves. He started, owned, and operated Morco Construction Co., Inc. for over 30 years. While construction was his first passion, farming was his second.
He is survived by his wife of 45 years, Glenda M. Snyder; brother and sisters-in-law, Thomas, Jr. and Christine Snyder of Elizabethtown, Ky.; Teresa Snyder of Huntsville, Ala.; nephews, Stuart (Abby) of Georgetown, Ky., Stephen (Kira) of Northlak, Texas., Walker (Mandy) of Somerville, Ala., and Hunter (Paige) of Argyle, Texas; great-nephews and great-nieces, Clark, Shepard, Sara Kate, and Bennett; Blair and Caroline, Raylon and Myla Mae; Sophia Elizabeth and Camille Grace.
Visitation will be held from 1-2 p.m. with the memorial service at 2 p.m. on Saturday, May 10, 2025 in the Buchanan Chapel of Botetourt Funeral Home.
