Eligibility for the ODAC All-Academic Team is open to any student-athlete that competes in an E&H varsity sport, regardless of academic class. He or she must achieve at least a 3.25 grade point average for the year to be considered.
As a freshman Ryan finished 21st in the 100 yard and 200 yard breaststroke events at the 2020 ODAC championships. He was also 23rd in the 100 yard butterfly and was a member of the 400 yard freestyle and 200 yard freestyle relay teams that both finished seventh, as well as the 800 yard freestyle team that was ninth.
