Melanie St. Clair Spangler, 57, of Buchanan, went to be with the Lord Monday, June 16, 2025. She was preceded in death by her father, Stanley St.Clair.
She is survived by her husband of 34 years, Jeff Spangler; daughter and son-in-law, Emily and Troy Hackenbracht; grandson, Levi Hackenbracht; mother, Dorothy St. Clair; sisters and brother-in-law, Sharon and Carl Pugh and Wendy St.Clair; nephews, Brandon Fairburn and Jacob (Meagan) Fairburn; and great-nephew, Luke Fairburn.
Melanie was a selfless individual. She repeatedly put the needs of others before herself. Melanie loved her family more than anything. She was the most caring wife, mother, and Memaw.
Visitation was held from 6-8 p.m. Saturday, June 21, 2025 at Botetourt Funeral Home, Buchanan. Memorial services were held at 2 p.m. Sunday, June 22, int the Buchanan Chapel of Botetourt Funeral Home with Pastor John Reynolds officiating.
