The Ashley Plantation Stingrays of the Roanoke Aquatic Association took on the Stonegate Gators in a Monday night meet in Salem this week. The RVAA has one more Monday night meet, on July 18, before the annual City-County Meet on July 29 and 30 at the Christiansburg Aquatic Center. On July 18, the Stingrays will be home against Spring Run while Read Mountain travels to the Elks’ Club, and Limestone Park is at Hidden Valley. Here girls dive in for the 100 Individual Medley; Jack Lee of Ashley swims the breaststroke, Jaden Herrig does the backstroke, and Kaylee Wittnsoldner competes in the breaststroke leg of the IM.
