The Botetourt County Board of Supervisors will host a community meeting on the proposed rate increases by Aqua Virginia Thursday, March 15 at 7 p.m. at Rainbow Forest Baptist Church.

Blue Ridge District Supervisor Billy Martin and Valley District Supervisor Mac Scothorn will receive comments from citizens and businesses who are Aqua Virginia customers in the county.

Aqua Virginia is proposing a set of rate increases that could cause up to a 29 percent raise in customer bills. The supervisors want to hear from those customers about the proposed increase and about the service provided by Aqua Virginia.

The church is located at 1338 Rainbow Forest Dr., Troutville.
