Botetourt Globetrotters is a group of Botetourt County school teachers who have a passion for travel and love sharing the experience of new places and cultures with children, especially those who are in the 11 to 15 or older age range.
In the summer of 2020, they will be traveling to Germany, Czech Republic, Poland, Slovakia, Hungary, and Austria, walking around in the cities of Berlin, Prague, Krakow, and Budapest in central eastern Europe, visiting the incredible historic sites, beautiful cathedrals, absorbing the culture and sampling the local foods.
If your child is interested in exploring the world and becoming a global citizen, join the Globetrotters for their initial interest meeting. It will be held on Tuesday, April 30, at 7 p.m., at the Blue Ridge Library. This will be their fifth trip with Education First Educational Tours, and they are excited to share this opportunity with Botetourt County students.
