The Fincastle Library is offering a five-week afterschool technology workshop for fourth and fifth graders. The workshop is being taught by Skylar Gay, Miss Crooked Road Outstanding teen. Students will have the opportunity to learn about Micro: bit, Scratch, and MIT App design. Diane Kees from Micro Harmonics, a Fincastle company will be visiting the workshop to talk about their two-year contract with NASA. Miss Virginia, Camille Scheier, will also attend the workshop to talk about her work for the Miss America Organization and her love for science and how it has contributed to her work as a future pharmacist.
