Lord Botetourt had boys and girls doubles teams ready to compete on Tuesday with Christiansburg hosting the Region 3D tennis tournaments on the Virginia Tech courts.
The girls are the second seed in the tournament, as Leah Germain and Jordan Coffey represent the Cavaliers. They were scheduled to open against seventh seeded Hidden Valley.
Tyler Meade and Blake Lancaster were scheduled to represent the LB boys in their doubles tournament.
Singles region tournaments were last week. Meade won his opening match against Tai Phan of Northside before falling in the semifinals to Jacob Nichols of Hidden Valley.
Germain played in the girls tournament and lost in the first round to Audra Horton of Carroll County.
Only the region singles and doubles champions advance to the state tournament this year.
