The Lord Botetourt tennis teams were rained out of matches against William Fleming on Tuesday. Those matches will be made up on Monday, April 30, with the girls at Fleming and the boys at home at Hollins University.
Last Friday both teams took on William Byrd with mixed results. The boys took a 9-0 win in Vinton but the girls lost to Byrd, 6-3, at Hollins. Rachel Williams at one, Abby Eggleston at four and the number two doubles team of Kaile Judge and Eggleston won matches for the girls.
LB also played Hidden Valley last week and both teams went down to defeat, as the girls fell 8-1 and the boys were shut out, 9-0.
