Some may have noticed a few Botetourt County sheriff’s deputies appear a little more fuzzy during their tours of duty. Deputies are donning beards from October through December to support St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital.
By donating $25 each month, the deputies who participate can circumvent traditional grooming standards by growing beards from October through December 31.
