Madeline M. Theimer, 88, of Fincastle, passed away Wednesday, June 26, 2019.
Madeline was born in Roanoke June 27, 1931 and lived in Fincastle most of her life. She was the daughter of the late John and Elizabeth Driscoll McCarty.
In addition to her parents, Madeline was preceded in death by her husband, Robert “Bobby” Theimer; and her sisters: Sr. Marie McCarty, Rita Driscoll, and Joan Gray. She is survived by her children: Robbie (Carol) Theimer, Chris (Janet) Theimer, Greg Theimer, Mary Beth (Ed) Schulz, and Michael (Jennifer) Theimer; 13 grandchildren, and numerous great-grandchildren.
Mass of Christian Burial was held at 11 a.m. Saturday, June 29 at Church of the Transfiguration, Fincastle with burial at Godwin Cemetery. Madeline’s family received friends at the church one hour prior to the service Saturday.
