Toys 4 Bot-E-Tots to hold fundraiser on September 26

Toys 4 Bot-E-Tots has scheduled its big fundraiser for Saturday, Sept. 26. The day will include a pork chop dinner, a poker run and multiple sales/raffles.

The pork chop dinner, prepared by the Lord Botetourt FFA, will be sold from 11 a.m.-2 p.m. at Fincastle Baptist Church on Roanoke Road. It includes the pork chop, baked potato, slaw, roll and a drink for $10, dine in or carry out. Tickets are sold in advance with limited tickets available at the door.

The poker run is presented by the Purgatory Mountain Chapter of Abate of Virginia. Cash prizes will be awarded for best hand/worst hand. Registration begins at 9 a.m. at Fincastle Baptist Church. The cost is a new, unwrapped toy or $15 per hand.

Other activities during the day include a bake sale, 50/50 raffle, and lots of rattle items.

A gun raffle, sponsored by H&H Outdoors and Mt. Joy Hardware, will be held for a Smith & Wesson M&P .45 Shield M2. Tickets are being sold in advance with a limited number sold that day.

Toys 4 Bot-E-Tots is sponsored by Bank of Botetourt, Country Cookin, Fincastle Baptist Church, and Fincastle Baptist, in partnership with the Botetourt County Sheriff’s Office.
