Santa and Mrs. Claus helped the Town of Buchanan get the Christmas season started Saturday evening during the town’s annual Tree Lighting Ceremony at the Town Hall. Several hundred people gathered for carols, a chance to visit with Santa and the count down to lighting the town tree (donated by the Tommy Moore family of Fincastle). The town’s seasonal Twilight in Buchanan activities continue through Epiphany.
