The Tuesday Morning Club met on June 8 at Mt. Pleasant United Methodist Church. Ruby Taylor called the meeting to order. Nancy Goad was hostess and led devotions. Nancy Waddell read the minutes and Faye Kessler gave the treasurer’s report.
June’s project was a donation to the library. Members also prepared a box of snack items for the Sheriff’s Department in appreciation of their work.
After the meeting, members enjoyed a potluck lunch. Members attending, not previously mentioned, were Dot Hillard, Priscilla Hedrick, Cheryl Wood and Barbara Harris.
The next meeting will be held on July 13.
